Solicitors in England & Wales · Hablamos español

English law, explained in your language.

We are Acer, a firm of solicitors regulated by the SRA. We support Spanish speakers in the UK who have suffered financial fraud, or whose future depends on a visa. Published prices, clear explanations and no promises we cannot keep.

Why the name

“Acer”: Latin for sharp, keen. It is also the maple.

Maple seeds, called samaras, have a wing that makes them spin and travel far before they take root. It felt like the right image for a firm that works with people who have crossed borders and who sometimes need something that was taken to come back where it belongs.

From the Latin word we keep the rest: getting to the point, reading the small print and telling you honestly what can and cannot be done.

How we work

Three commitments, in writing

We speak your language

Meetings, emails and explanations in Spanish or English. Official documents will be in English, but you will always know what you are signing and why.

The price, before we start

We publish our fees and, before any work, send you a written estimate and an engagement letter. No signature, no charge.

No impossible promises

No responsible lawyer can guarantee an outcome. We will tell you your realistic options, their costs and their risks.

Getting started

From your first message to the engagement letter

  1. You write or call

Tell us the essentials. We reply within 24 hours.

  2. First conversation

We understand your situation and tell you whether we can help. First consultation: {{PRECIO_CONSULTA}}.

  3. Clear estimate

We send you in writing what we will do, what is not included, the cost and the usual timescale.

  4. Engagement letter

Only once you sign it do we start work and charge. Not before.

Before you pay anyone
